Optics and Applications

A kicker reflector redirects spill light through a proprietary prismatic glass spread lens. Part of the lens is clear and part is diffused for superior pattern uniformity. Use to light walls, murals, paintings, draperies, tapestries and textured surfaces such as stone, masonry or wood. Matte wall finishes are recommended to reduce specular reflections.

Design Features

The lampholder is adjustable to provide proper focal positions for the lamps. The lampholder and the lenscone assembly can be rotated 360° to compensate for job conditions. The lens-cone assembly is keyed to the lampholder so all components are always in alignment. Torsion springs hold the cone assembly against the ceiling with constant pressure. Maximum ceiling thickness 1 1/2". Top or bottom service.

Finish

A specular clear Alzak cone is standard. Optional colors and Softglow® finishes are available. Housing, structural parts and the back of the cone are painted optical matte black to suppress stray light leaks. Steel parts are phosphate conditioned for corrosion resistance before painting.

General

Fixtures are pre-wired and thermally protected, UL and C-UL listed for eight wire 75°C branch circuit wiring. Union made IBEW. Luminaire Efficiency Ratings (LER) do not apply to wall washers.
