Optics and Applications
For general downlighting in low and medium height ceilings. Use wherever wide angle performance with an imperceptible fringe pattern is required.
Design Features
Kurt Versen fresnel lenses are proprietary and feature lowest possible face brightness from normal viewing angles. Satin anodized reflectors complete the optical system. The splayed lens trims have a unique parabolic contour for maximum control of spill light. Torsion springs exert constant pressure for tight flange to ceiling contact. Focal points are factory set for maximum wattage. F5671 may be converted at the job site for an alternate lamp. Maximum ceiling thickness 1 1/4". Service from above or below.
Finish
The lens trim is matte white enamel. The aperture frame is optical matte black to suppress stray light leaks. Steel parts are phosphate conditioned for corrosion resistance before painting.
General
Fixtures are pre-wired and thermally protected, UL and C-UL listed for eight wire 75°C branch circuit wiring. Union made IBEW. Luminaire Efficiency Rating (LER) data is in the photometric directory located in Section Z.
