Optics and Applications

A kicker reflector and a proprietary prismatic glass spread lens direct lamp output to light vertical surfaces. Part of the lens is clear and part is diffused for superior pattern uniformity. Performance is very smooth with wide lateral distribution devoid of hot spots or striations. Use to light walls, murals, textured surfaces, paintings, draperies, bookcases, etc.

Design Features

A sturdy steel housing protects the optical system which is rotatable 360° to compensate for variable job conditions. Torsion springs hold the cone assembly against the ceiling with constant pressure. Maximum ceiling thickness is 2". Top or bottom service.

Finish

The kicker reflector is semi-diffuse clear Alzak. The shielding cone is clear specular Alzak. Optional colors and Softglow® finishes are available. Structural parts are painted optical matte black to suppress stray light leaks.

Ballasts

Electronic metal halide ballasts provide constant output. Thermal protection with auto reset, quiet operation and automatic shutdown at end of life. For emergency back-up system contact factory. Service through the aperture.

General

Fixtures are pre-wired and thermally protected, UL and C-UL listed for eight wire 75°C branch circuit wiring. Union made IBEW. Luminaire Efficiency Ratings (LER) do not apply to wall washers.
