Optics and Applications

A newly designed segmented and die-formed reflector gathers the output of powerful T-6 metal halide lamps for delivery to the workspace. A glass microprism spread lens is standard for brightness control.

Design Features

A sturdy steel housing protects and positions the primary reflector for proper performance. Air flow convection cools the lamp chamber. The parabolic splay trim is held to the ceiling by a torsion spring assembly. Maximum ceiling thickness 7/8". Top or bottom service.

Finish

Housing and structural parts are painted matte black to suppress stray light leaks. The aperture trim is Softglow® clear. A variety of special finishes, textures and colors is available.

Trim Textures

Kurt Versen textured trims create a different architectural dimension on the ceiling plane. All textures are available in our special anodic colors.

Ballasts

Electronic metal halide ballasts provide more constant lumen and wattage output. They feature thermal protection with auto reset, fast restrike, quiet operation and automatic shutdown at end of life.

General

Fixtures are pre-wired, thermally protected, UL, and C-UL listed for eight wire 75°C branch circuit wiring. All products are union made IBEW. Suitable for damp locations.
