Optics and Applications
A hydroformed primary reflector creates a slightly asymmetric pattern depending upon measurement parallel or perpendicular to the lamps. A microprism spread lens is standard.
Design Features
A rigid steel housing protects all fixture components. Air flow assures a cool lamp chamber. The trim is held to the ceiling by a torsion spring assembly. Maximum ceiling thickness 7/8". Top or bottom service.
Finish
Housing and structural parts are painted matte black. The aperture trim is clear Softglow® clear. A variety of special finishes, textures and colors is available.
Trim Textures
Kurt Versen has developed a selection of textured rectangular trims to create an interesting architectural dimension on the ceiling plane. All textured surfaces are available in anodic special colors. See Accessories.
Ballasts
Electronic metal halide ballasts provide more constant lumen and wattage output. They feature thermal protection with auto reset, quiet operation and automatic shutdown at end of life.
General
Fixtures are pre-wired, thermally protected, UL and C-UL listed for eight wire 75°C branch circuit wiring. All products are union made IBEW. Luminaire Efficiency Rating (LER) data is in the photometric directory located in Section Z.
