Optics and Applications

MR-16 and AR70 lamps are available in a range of beam patterns. Crossing the beams creates interesting effects. Illuminate two different objects from one fixture.

Design Features

Each lamp rotates 360° and tilts 45°. Vertical lamp adjustment and secure position locks are included. Accessory holders are built in as standard. Pressure springs assure tight trim to ceiling fit. Maximum ceiling thickness 7/8". Top or bottom service.

Finish

Structural parts are painted matte black to suppress light leaks. The aperture trim is Softglow® clear. A variety of special finishes, textures and colors is available.

Trim Textures

A selection of textured trims creates an interesting architectural dimension on the ceiling plane. All textures are available in anodic special colors.

Transformers

Each fixture has two transformers capable of accommodating low voltage lamps up to 75W. The primary lead is 120V with a 12V secondary. Each is rated 180°C, Class H with a built-in thermal reset. It can be lowered through the aperture for service. Total fixture draw is 170W.

General

Fixtures are pre-wired, thermally protected, UL and C-UL listed for eight wire 75°C branch circuit wiring. All products are union made IBEW. Luminaire Efficiency Ratings (LER) do not apply to directional fixtures.
