Optics and Applications
Kicker reflectors redirect light through a frosted microprism glass spread lens. The rectangular shape uses two lamps for uniform brightness on the lens producing wide lateral spread and even illumination from ceiling to floor. Use to light walls, murals, paintings, and textured surfaces such as stone, masonry or wood. Choice of parallel or perpendicular version to match adjacent downlights.
Design Features
A steel housing protects all parts and is ventilated for cool lamp chamber temperature. The parabolic splay trim is held to the ceiling by a torsion spring assembly. Maximum ceiling thickness 7/8". Top or bottom service.
Finish
Housings and structural parts are painted matte black. The aperture trim is Softglow® clear. A variety of special finishes, textures and colors is available.
Trim Textures
Textured rectangular trims create an interesting architectural dimension on the ceiling plane. All textured surfaces are available in anodic special colors. See Accessories.
Ballast
Electronic metal halide ballasts provide more constant lumen and wattage output. They feature thermal protection with auto reset, quiet operation and automatic shutdown at end of life.
General
Fixtures are pre-wired, thermally protected, UL and C-UL listed for eight wire 75°C branch circuit wiring. All products are union made IBEW. Suitable for damp locations.
