Optics and Applications
Heavy gauge heat sinked faceted reflectors direct output through microprism spread lenses for even illumination from ceiling to floor. Choice of parallel or perpendicular version to match adjacent downlights. Fixtures accept two triple tube compact fluorescent lamps. Both sockets and ballasts accept all three wattages interchangeably.
Design Features
Rigid steel housings protect all fixture components. Air flow design assures a cool lamp chamber, critical for full rated performance. The trim is held to the ceiling by a torsion spring assembly. Maximum ceiling thickness 1". Top or bottom service.
Finish
Structural parts are painted matte black to suppress light leaks. The aperture trim is Softglow® clear. A variety of special finishes, textures and colors is available.
Trim Textures
Kurt Versen offers a selection of textured rectangular trims for an interesting architectural dimension on the ceiling plane. All textured surfaces are available in anodic colors.
Ballast
Fully electronic, microprocessor controlled with variable starting current for inrush protection to assure rated lamp life. Input voltage ranges from 120V through 277V. Operates 26W, 32W or 42W triple tube lamps interchangeably. Power factor .98, starting temperature 0° (-18° C), THD < 10%. Pre-heat start < 1.0 second. End of lamp life protection. Rated for > 50,000 starts.
General
Fixtures are pre-wired, UL and C-UL listed for eight wire 75°C branch circuit wiring. All products are union made IBEW. Luminaire Efficiency Ratings (LER) do not apply to wall washers.
